Actions

The Laboratory of Geophysical-Satellite Remote Sensing and Archaeo-environment (GeoSat ReSeArch) FORTH-IMS coordinate the following actions

  • WP 2.2.1: Study of the response and resolution capabilities of Electrical Resistivity Tomography for the reconstruction of geological stratigraphy in marine environments through numerical modeling and inversion.
  • WP 2.2.2: Feasibility study of Electrical Resistivity Tomography for mapping geological-archaeological structures in shallow marine/coastal environments.
  • WP 3.10.1: Location and mapping of Olive Oil Mill Waste disposal areas through analysis and processing of satellite images.
  • WP 3.10.2: Time lapse geophysical monitoring of the subsurface pollution Olive Mill Waste disposal sites – Correlation of geophysical parameters.
  • WP 3.10.3: Construction of a supervised test site for the in-situ evaluation of Electrical Resistivity Tomography method in problems related to the flow of pollutants in the subsurface.
